Q: What is Care Entrée?
A: Care Entrée provides non-insurance health care solutions that include discounts on physicians, dentists, prescription drugs, vision care, hearing and chiropractic services. Care Entrée also offers supplemental insurance solutions through AmeriValue Plan.

Q: Is Care Entrée an insurance program?
A: No. This is not a health insurance program. Care Entrée Total Care Series are medical discount programs.  The AmeriValue Plan, offered through Care Entrée, is a supplemental insurance program.

Q: How much will I save?
A: Many factors determine your savings such as the services you receive, the state you reside in and the provider you have selected.

Q: Is there a deductible or co-pay?
A: Our Medical Discount programs do not have deductibles or copays, because they are NOT insurance. Members of these programs are responsible for paying or making arrangements for the payment of the full negotiated discount amount at the time of service.

Certain of our programs (AmeriValue Plan and the Dental Insurance portion of Total Care Plus, where available) include some limited insured features.  In these cases, if there is a deductible or copay for the Limited Insurance program, this is shown in the feature details.

Q: What if I have a previously diagnosed medical condition?
A: No problem, all current health conditions are accepted.

Q: How long must I wait before I can obtain medical discounts?
A: Except for members who reside in California, Florida, Indiana or Utah, hospitalizations require a 30-day waiting period from membership activation date.  There are no other waiting periods.

Q: Are there any long-term contracts involved?
A: No. Members may cancel their Care Entrée program at any time upon written notice to the company.

Q: Who is allowed to use my medical discount card?
A: Your spouse and any other IRS dependents.

Q: How do I know if the Care Entrée program is available in my area?
